&. Can You Hear the Echo?

It had taken her a longer time than what might have been the usual time for her to get to this place if her mood had been in better shape. It was a slow journey from the Fortifications to the center of the crumbling old town. A series of steps followed by stops to check out the flowing humid hot air and occassional rests to allow her mind to think. Meia was hopeful that plenty if not some water would lay available for her dry and dehydrated brown lips that eager wanted moisture and comfort from the climate surrounding the place. Her spirits were however in better shape than what she started with thanks to the more content and happier stallion named Devin. Hazel eyes alert and catious as she moved in slow forward steps searching for her little source of a mini paradise. Thoughts moving faster than her legs but not racing which was a welcoming change. Brown mane and tail slightly damped with sweat as she kept to the shadows of any building she could find.

Ears pinned up as she focused on nearby sounds and she made long stares at everything she passed. Partly to remember where and how she got to this place, and to make sure the coast was clear. Where is this well? She thought as she moved along the side of a broken house doorway and looked toward a open stone floored area. The actual town square part. Optics looking over a broken stone formation with some voilage looming cuddled up over it. Could that be it? Legs remained still and she stared at it for a few seconds with hope that water would be found. With the sun high in the sky and already over its peak of high noon, she didn't want to waste too much time still walking and pressing her luck when laziness was creeping up onto her. Oh wonderful grandmama. Please let there be some water for me. Safe water to give me strenght and refresh me from the troubles in my mind. The pray short and sincere as she closed her eyes and opened them slowly with a light sigh.
